| When I lived on Powell Street just below the Lucky Lodge Hotel I used to go everyday to the Carngie Hall. The food was cheap and very healthy. The place was run by volunteers who worked so hard and they were so kind to me. Just before leaving Vancouver to move to England I gave two paintings to the Carngie Hall with a card to read to the staff saying thank you. |
