Icefield paintings are abstract landscapes. They relate to color theory, space, and the environment. Ice melting. To explain myself best I have typed out the Webster Dictionary definition that relates to what I am trying to communicate with paint.
Ice-berg 1. A thick mass of ice found floating in the sea at high latitudes; a portion of a glacier discharged in to the sea; distinguished from field ice. 2. a cold, unemotional person.

I have painted representation landscape in an abstract impressionist manner. But my mind has been flooded. In this sereis I wished to explore a mental landscape. A consciencess relationship to the world. Gobal warming. The fragile nature of our planet. A tender, delicate balance that has to be respected.
