L1 - Landlord and Tenancy Board. Letter of Eviction. I had a tenant that failed to pay his rent for 4 months. He was very depressed. He failed by change the cat litter box. His cats pissed on the brand new hardwood flooring. All the hardwood flooring and sub floor had to be replaced. This art work was inspired by those events. I was also inspired by Squirrel Suicide by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan. The mouse was killed in our kitchen a few days before the show. It seemed a waste to throw the mouse away in the garbage. So rather why not make some art. The day before the opening I hired Slava to build the roof and bed for the installation. A few hours before the opening night I walked up to Saint Vincent Charity Shop and putchase the pictures and mirror. thank you Patrick |

Mixed medium, stuff purchased from charity shop, dead mouse, mouse trap, wood, roof shingles.
Mouse died Oct 3. 2010.
