I worked on this painitng for 5 - 6 months. It is very textured, many layers of paint. I finished it Sept 27th 2010.

I really wanted to explore yellow. This is a landscape painitng.

Thoughts of Henri Matisse (his Red Studio painting), and Vincent van Gogh and his Sunflowers paintings really inspired me..

These were two major influences that helped me down this creative road. These are what really helped me paint this painting.
