I arrived on location around 10:20 am. I hoped to be there earlier, but I went to Tim Hortons for begal and cream cheese, orange juice, and a Canadian Maple donut. It was a really work out to bike downtown to location. The size of the canvas was large. The number of tubes of paint added up.

It was cold. Not too cold. I was happy. As happy as one could be on a blue sky day.

It was another day to paint a painting. I had done five night paintings of this location, and I wished to try a day painting of the location.

I kept painting until the work was finished. It was late when the painting was completed. But I really wished to work from beginning to end. I find that the work communicates a full wave of energy.

The core body temperature had lowered by the time I was finished. When I arrived home. I had a shower. I sat down on the bath tube floor... legs tired... and let the shower rain warms drops on me. It was such a pure feeling of satisfaction.

thank you

Patrick

Patrick,

As usual your artwork continues to inspire me. I wrote a song while I had one of your paintings as a wallpaper on my computer. Your paintings reveal a lot of truth, and what got me thinking was the little child in your painting. What happened to innocence? Those man, puppet masters, standing high in the building, these men, in my eyes, are political and corporate entities that dominate our world today. One side you have the Government, and on the other the Bank.

I related your work to Peter Pan. Whatever happened to the child who never wanted to grow up? The child who wanted to spend all eternity having fun, and playing games died along time ago. The world is too focused on the future and is forgetting the purity, and innocence of it all.

You can hear the latest song at http://www.myspace.com/magnus -- and you will find your work attached to the song.

Miss you dear friend, and I hope all is well!
