This above large abstract oil painting is one of my personal favorites. Most people do not like black paintings... they find them too hard to live with. Perhaps it is that I really attacked this painting and really surrendered myself to it... is why I love it so much

Initially the entire painting was white... as the white floor will indicate. But the battle ground was set. The place matt was emptied and the knife was on one side and the fork on the other side.

David and Goliath. In this painting I wanted to narrate a story.

The detail on this particular large abstract oil painting really has to be appreciated up close and in the flesh. The white organic willows look like the crust of the moon and the under layers play a significant role in the over all effect of the abstract oil painting.  I consider this to be one of the best Willow World paintings out of the series.
