It is very difficult to take a photo of this painting while it is in the studio. The flash makes the painting glare.

 

I struggled with the male face. I completely scraped it away numerous times before arriving to this (am an still not sure about this....)

I had to get out of the studio and stop painting... in fear that I would continue scrapping the canvas and never getting anything except mud.
