House Hunting (Self Portraits): a series of abstract expressionist self portraits. These painting were completed while Erika, Isabelle (one year old daughter), and I were moving from London England to Ottawa Canada. We spent three months house hunting (trying to purchase a new home), and four months in temporary accomidations. It was a very stressful period in our lives. Julie and Ross (Erika's sister and brother inlaw) were very kind to us. They helped us a tremendous amount. They allowed me to convert there garage into a space were I could paint. thank you |
