Kendall Langford and Graham Atkins: private art collection

Private Collection of Kendall Langford and Graham Atkins

The above Willow World painting I believe to be one of my best works. It has approximately 25 layers of oil paint and took me approximately two months to complete. When you see it in the flesh it has soft cobalt violets and magenta (making it feel like a lavender under tone). I worked on the Willow World series for approximately a year and a half. I had a solo exhibition on the King's Road in London, Kendall Langford saw this painting and jumped... I am really happy that it is homed to such a lovely couple that really love the painting so much.

Private Collection of Kendall Langford and Graham Atkins - (gift)

This above painting was a gift to Kendall and Graham for their encouragement and help. Kendall approached Tiffiny Lendrum in Los Angeles (art consultant) who took on my work. She also approached Thackeray Gallery in Kensington London... who unfortunately rejected my work. At the same time that Kendall and Graham were purchasing my work I had won some competition through ArtLink@Sotheby's International. They invited Erika and I over to their home for dinner (champagne, beautiful salad, and amasing meal... it was clear that they had made a large effort to have us into their home). I appreciated all the encouragement that Kendall and Graham had flooded me with. The above painting was a small gift.

Thank you.
