Letter to a friend. oil on canvas. 24 x 32 inches. Oct - Dec 1998. Price: £800 The structure developed or was inspired by a dance preformance where music notes dance and move across the stage. The title of the painting is rather sentimental... I wanted to talk to Alex Antunic (in New York). He was not home, and my letters are so boring... my life is very mundane and life in repeat. So rather than write a letter I choose to create this painting. |

Whole in the Fuckin' Roof. oil on canvas. 24 x 32 inches. Nov - Dec 1998. Price: £800 The 18 Garfield Road property had countless problems with it. One night it was raining in our bedroom... not able to sleep I did this painting until four in the morning. Unfortunately I had to go to work the next morning. |

Melody. oil on canvas. 22 x 34 inches. Nov - Dec 1998. Price: £800 When I moved to London I did not have a radio for many month. So while painting I would sing or hum melodies in my head. This series was very popular... in the space of 3 1/2 to 4 months (with the help of Greg Konard) I sold 38 works (a healthy percent of this of those sold works was out of this series). One could say that this series of paintings paid for our wedding. |
