I worked on this canvas for 4 1/2 months. The painting has approximately 30 layers of oil paint. I had a very difficult time getting to something I was complete in. It is titled: Ma Belle... after my Isabelle Chantal Mills (5 month old when this paintings was completed). The connection of feeding Isabelle, holding Isabelle, playing with her, watching her play with her feet.
