I worked on this painting for approximately one month. The canvas stayed on the easel in my backyard for this period of time. This canvas has been snowed on many times.

The yellow is the spring, sunshine that is breaking out of the winter, the positive spirit under the skin, a smile, a warm blossom of love.

The blue is the sky, rain, tears... that wash and water the soul.

The red is the passion, lust for life, blood, strenght and power in my mother's body.

Currently my mother is battling cancer, and has been for the past year. She is currently waiting for further cat scan results.
