Seasons Series: (Fall - Winter 2000)

Erika and I went to Montreal / Ottawa in September 2000 to visit her family for ten days. I was amazed by all the leaves and the changing of the trees. When I returned back to my studio in London I started the series of very textured oil paintings below.

This series has many thick layers of oil paint. The painting is meant to be divided into four equal merging sections: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter.
