ArtLink @ Sotheby's International Young Art 2001

The image or letter to the right was confirmation that I had been successful in the first screening of our Selection Committee and was short listed as a Semi Finalist for the ArtLink @ Sotheby's International Young Art 2001 program.

The painting below was sold in an online auction through Sotheby's. I was very honoured to be selected into the ArtLink program. The received many applications which demonstrated a diverse body of very impressive work, and the selection committee labored long and hard to select the 200 Semi Finalists.

We were asked by the ArtLink @ Sotheby's team to bring our original work to Camberwell College of Arts on Monday July 3rd, and on Wednesday July 5th from 9am you must be present in order to talk about your work and answer questions that the ArtLink @ Sotheby's committee members may have. Results of the final selection were given on the afternoon. I was accepted to and the above work sold through an Artlink @ Sotheby's auction.
